Windows Phone Internals dev working to bring Project Astoria (Android on Lumia) back

The developer of Windows Phone Internals, a tool with support to unlock Bootloader and flash custom ROM on all Lumia models may start working on porting Project Astoria back to Windows 10 Mobile. This can, in theory, allow installation of Android apps once again on Windows 10 Mobile devices.

HeathcliffXDA has announced the release of Windows Phone internals 2.3 and it can be used to unlock bootloader for all Lumia models. In the release video, the dev has also answered questions about Android on Lumia and Project Astoria.

While he won’t work on porting Android to Lumias his area of interest seems to be porting the Project Astoria back to Windows 10 Mobile.
