Microsoft announced roll-out of Windows 11 to eligible Windows 10 PCs on October 5. But it also revealed that not all eligible Windows 10 PC owners will get the update because of compatibility holds related to known issue. Now, many PC owners are taking to forums, official and otherwise and sharing stories about Windows 11 upgrade issue faced by them.
Some of the Windows 11 upgrade and installation issues are common and seem to be wide spread. One of the issue reported by many users is related to PC Health check confirming the eligibility to upgrade, while Windows update says “This pc doesn’t currently meet all the system requirements for windows 11”.

Some users who even attempted to install Windows 11 by downloading the ISO file. They were greeted by “The processor isn’t supported by this version of Windows” message when trying to install using the ISO image.
Many PC owners faced installation issues while trying to install the update via “Windows 11 installation assistant” or otherwise.

One of the PC owner was however pleasantly surprised because of Windows 11 update availability for his PC, while PC Health check has marked his PC ineligible for Windows 11.
Windows insider and PC Health check both says I don’t meet requirements for windows 11, but in windows update “upgrade to windows 11” is present.
Coming to another widespread issue that many have reported is about the Windows 10 Taskbar appearing after installation of Windows 11. More users have reported this issue.

For resolving this issue, Microsoft has recommended to uninstall the latest cumulative update by going to Control Panel->Programs->View installed updates->Uninstall an update and uninstall the latest cumulative update. You can check the latest update by date and uninstall it. Now reinstall the same update by checking in Windows update.
