Google Chrome, the number one web browser after announcing support for a dark theme for the program on MacOS Mojave, gearing up to repeat that on Windows side. As first spotted by Techdows, Google Chrome developer Peter Kasting confirmed the news about the dark theme Chrome program for Windows 10 on a Reddit thread by saying the following.

For desktop, native dark theme support is in progress, in the meantime, we generally suggest people use the dark theme.

The developer also admits that the dark theme feature has always been on the top most requested feature. A bug report by the developer on bugs.chromium.org also writes, “Windows 10 allows users to set their apps to “light” or “dark” mode. Chrome should respect this. The most obvious hack is to use the default incognito color scheme in normal mode (as well as incognito) if the system is in dark mode. Long-term, we should perhaps have a better answer. This has been a popular external request for some time.”

Though as you can see, there is no mention of time or date. But since the team is already working on the project, we can expect it to come within a few months.
