Microsoft recently made a new feature “Math Solver” available in the Dev channel of Microsoft Edge. Now, in a good news for those using the stable version of Microsoft Edge the feature has become available for stable channel too.
How to enable Math solver & make it appear on toolbar:
You can now enable the feature using the flag: #edge-math-solver. Follow the steps provided below.
- Just type “edge://flags/” in the Edge browser and navigate. Now, search for the flag, Math solver.
- Enable it from the options provided in the flag and it will become available for you in tools.
- Now go to Settings–>Appearance–>Customize toolbar and toggle on “Show Math Solver button” to show it on the toolbar.
A user can provide either a handwritten or printed picture of a math problem which is read by the system to provide step-by-step solution on how to get the result by themselves. It will also offer more learning options such as quizzes, worksheets, or video tutorials.
