Microsoft has quietly pushed a new firmware update on the Surface Pro X device running Windows 10.
The Surface Pro X is the company’s ultra-thin and always connected PC, which combines blazing-fast LTE with 2-in-1 versatility and edge-to-edge, ultra-slim 13-inch touchscreen display.
In the latest firmware update (via Windows Central), users can make and receive calls using the Your Phone app.
The official update history support page is yet to reflect the change (firmware details) but here is a bit of information regarding the same in case you are curious.
- UEFI — 3.462.140.0 updated to 3.477.140.0
- SAM — 14.58.139.0 updated to 14.105.139.0
- Wi-Fi Driver — 1.0.860.0 updated to 1.0.1020.0
Note: Your Phone app should be updated to version 1.20051.88.0 to make and receive phone calls from a linked Android phone.
