Microsoft is now automatically updating all insiders in Beta Channel to Windows 10 version 21H1 now. It earlier made the 21H1 update available as “seeker update” which needed manual installation. But, now your PC will update to 21H1 itself if you are in Beta channel.
Microsoft has provided an update about this in it original blog post. The 21H1 build made available will be Build 19043.844.
UPDATE 3/2: 21H1 is now being offered as a recommended update to all Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel. Insiders who previously didn’t choose to install 21H1 will now automatically receive 21H1 in the Beta Channel.
The Windows 10 version 21H1 update will be released similar to other minor Windows 10 OS updates. The 21H1 update release will use monthly update servicing channel like Windows 10 version 20H2 update.
The update release is targeted at the later part of first half of 2021. Microsoft has also confirmed that all Windows 10 editions of version 21H1 will receive 18 months of servicing updates. The current release to Beta channel also hints at Microsoft preparing for a mass release of 21H1 to public.
