Microsoft recently outed its earnings report for the FY17 Q2. It reflects the earnings Microsoft made towards the end of 2016, till December 31st.
In a press release, according to Microsoft, the business and productivity processes has seen an increase in revenue by 10% (up 12% in constant currency) which sums up to $7.4 billion.
These services include Office 365 commercial, Office 365 consumer, Dynamics products and cloud services and LinkedIn.
Here are some of the business highlights:
- Office commercial products and cloud services revenue increased 5% (up 7% in constant currency) driven by Office 365 commercial revenue growth of 47% (up 49% in constant currency)
- Office consumer products and cloud services revenue increased 22% (up 21% in constant currency) and Office 365 consumer subscribers increased to 24.9 million
- Dynamics products and cloud services revenue increased 7% (up 9% in constant currency) driven by Dynamics 365 revenue growth
- LinkedIn contributed revenue of $228 million for the period beginning on December 8, 2016
Alongside this, revenue in Intelligent Cloud was $6.9 billion and increased 8% (up 10% in constant currency). You can learn more about earnings in Cloud here
