Microsoft has introduced a minor yet important feature in the latest Skype Insider Preview Build 8.34.76.37. The latest Insider Preview Build now includes a much more convenient way of switching cameras while you attend calls.
If you have a multiple and camera set-up and want switch between them, things are a lot easier now as you can now right-click (long-press on touch-enabled devices) on your own video preview in a call instead of digging through the settings to access a list of available cameras. Â
The new feature is available on all the major desktop platforms – Windows, MAC, and Linux. But, the latest Build has its flaw. For example, on Skype for MAC, if you right click to open the context menu and then click anywhere to dismiss it, your preview will move to that spot.
