Microsoft has introduced a new emoticon picker on Skype 8 in Skype Insider Preview. The company now claims that Skype has more than 750 options to express your feelings with animated emoticons. An overhauled color pallet has also been introduced which enables you to see every emotion on every background and bubble color combination in Skype.
In case you are not aware, to see with what color tone an emoticon comes in: click on the hand and person tab, long press (mobile), or right-click (desktop), and a popup will appear with 6 different tone options. Click the one you want and it will be placed inside your message box.
The emoticons are now available on almost all platforms- Android, iOS, iPad, Windows, Linux, and MAC. What do you think about this new emoticon picker? Let us know in the comments section below.
