For applying to upgrade to this storage you have to click on the redemption link provided in the mail by 31st January 2014. We just clicked on the link and it directly takes one to the manage storage page and asks for your permission to redeem the code. Once you have redeemed the voucher, you will be shown full amount of storage available in SkyDrive.
Just sometime back, Microsoft has provided a free Skype upgrade to premium, similarly via a voucher. This enables one to enjoy free group video calls and other benefits.
