Microsoft has now made Intel firmware update KB4100347 available for the Windows 10 version 1803 and
This is a standalone update that can be downloaded form the Microsoft update catalogue. This update is available only for some Skylake devices initially and will be broadly available in coming days.
Summary
Intel recently announced that they have completed their validations and started to release microcode for recent CPU platforms related to Spectre Variant 2 (CVE 2017-5715 [“Branch Target Injection”]). This update includes microcode updates from Intel for the following CPUs:
