Microsoft To-Do on Android has been updated to version 1.11.29 with a number of improvements that include search, suggestions etc. in the Play Store.
When searching on To-Do, it will now display to-do including the list it belongs to. This was not possible before and now that it is here, users can narrow down the search if you are looking for a specific to-do from a particular list and so on.
Users will also find it easier to add to-dos to My Day with improved suggestions. You can quickly add to-dos based on recently synced to-dos.
The app also picked up support for Managed accounts. For users running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or above and having a managed account, you’ll be prompted to allow access to contacts. Alternatively, if you’re running another version, you’ll be prompted to allow access to contacts upon installation of the app.
WHAT’S NEW
- We realized our search results for notes were incomplete. Now we’ll also show you which to-do and list the note belongs to.
- We’ve streamlined Suggestions, so it’s easier to add to-dos to My Day.
- Managed accounts are now supported! To add support for these accounts, we do need some permissions.
- On Android M and above? If you have a managed account you’ll be prompted to allow access to contacts.
If you’re running another version, you’ll be prompted to allow access to contacts upon installation.
