Windows 11 preview builds have been so far made available to insiders in Dev channel only. But if you remember we reported about Microsoft planning to make Windows 11 available for insiders in both Dev and Beta channel.
Now, Microsoft has confirmed the timeline for release of Windows 11 preview builds to Beta channel. It seems Beta channel insiders can expect release of Windows 11 builds for their PCs later this month. The Windows insider official Twitter channel has confirmed this in response to a query.
Microsoft earlier clarified in its Windows 11 insider blog post that it will allow even those insider PCs get Windows 11 builds that don’t meet minimum system requirements. The table posted by Microsoft clearly shows that if your Windows 10 PC is already enrolled to Windows insider program (Meets minimum requirement for Windows insider program aka Windows 10), it will be eligible for Windows 11 insider program. So, if you are in Beta channel and already enrolled to Windows 10 insider program you will be eligible for Windows 11 insider program too.
Windows 11 update release will be known as Windows 11 October 2021 update or Windows 10 version 21H2 and is targeted at a October 2021 release. Windows 11 brings lots of UI/UX changes and new features over Windows 10.
