In case you are using a Windows Phone device and planning to buy or have already bought a “Pebble smartwatch” good news for you. Windows Phone developer “Bad Planet Software” has you covered with their “Pebble Watch Pro / Lite” app. There is no official Pebble smartwatch app for Windows Phone yet, so this is what will get you going with your Pebble smartwatch and Windows Phone.
I downloaded the Lite app which is free version of the same app. The interface looks simple and navigation is smooth. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Pebble smartwatch, but in case you want to know what features this application come with, check the screenshot above. Apart from receiving Calendar, Twitter, Battery and Network alerts on your Pebble smartwatch, you can also control music play on your phone.
Features:
Pebble Watch Pro in an unofficial app to use with your Pebble watch. Now you can receive Calendar, Twitter, Battery and Network alerts right on your Pebble.
You can choose 5, 10, 15 and 30 minute reminders before you appointments.
You can get Tweets from your Home Timeline and Twitter Direct Messages.
You can get alerts when your phone battery drops below 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 percent.
You can get alerts when you lose or regain access to the data network including Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G.
In addition you can control music on your Windows Phone right from the Pebble. Select songs from Playlist, Genre or All songs on your phone and then pause/play move to the next or previous song right from the music app on your Pebble.
