Net Market share report for the month of June again highlights the stagnancy that Windows 10 market share is suffering from. In spite of all the efforts made by Microsoft to make those on Windows 7 move to Windows 10, it is now growing at the pace Microsoft would like it to.
Windows 10 is at 26.8% at the end of June month. At the end of May, it was at 26.78%. Windows 7 has declined a bit from 49.46% in May to 49.04% in June. Talking of competitors, Mac OS X sees slight decline from 3.59% in May to 3.49% in June.
Windows XP declined sharply from 7.0% in April 2017 to 5.66% in May 2017, but it is now back to 6.9% in June. It never dies!! June report also comfirms that corporates that still buy and force employees to use Windows 7 and are not really fast in adopting and updating to Windows 10.
