Windows 10

If you are a user of Assistive Technology on Windows and are still using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you still have the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 10, at no cost. Microsoft has extended the free upgrade offer for people who use assistive technologies to get work done on their Windows PC.

Microsoft continues to invest in technologies that help people with disabilities to take advantage of great new Windows 10 features like everyone else. With Anniversary Update, Microsoft made several improvements to overall user experience include improving the screen reading experience with Narrator, the accessibility of experiences and apps like Microsoft Edge, Mail and the Start menu, as well as better tools and resources for developers to build more accessible apps and experiences.

Before you upgrade, please check with your assistive technology provider(s) to learn more about their software compatibility with Windows 10. Once you are assured, you are ready to take advantage of the upgrade offer, head to this page to get started.
