VLC for Windows 8 devices, which has a long history of not passing store certifications sometime back should be out soon. The VLC team has posted on the Twitter that it is getting uploaded, which means it should be out soon. Though, seems it is still marked as in certification, but apps take sometime in appearing in store.
The “VLC for Windows 8” app is still marked as “In certification”.
