WhatsApp app has received a new update for Windows phone and Windows 10 mobile. The latest update version is 2.17.52 . The latest update brings some UI changes and improvements. Check out the changelog below.
WhatsApp Changelog:
- Brings big UI tweak on homepage. Such as underlined UI similar as the Microsoft People and Microsoft Photos app have. Same concept for the user profile page also.
- GIF Support
- UI changes under camera viewfinder too
- Now there is a new unread message count indicator too on chats tab.
- Also increase the sharing limit from 10 images to 30 images, so you can now share more image.
- Brings some bug fixes and performance improvements.

Now it seems that WhatsApp’s continuously moving towards the trend of modernizing and company will soon completely move the app to the UWP app.
