The latest data from Net Applications reveals that the Windows 10 growth has slowed down a bit. As can be seen in the above pie-chart Windows 10 market share has touched 14.35% in April 2016. Windows 7 drops below 50% for the first time.
Another finding from Net Application data is for Browser and it seems Chrome has finally raced ahead of Internet explorer + Microsoft Edge in terms of market share. Though the lead is still very narrow and Microsoft Edge may undo this lead with Windows 10 adoption increasing. One reason behind this loss of market share for Internet explorer may be due to Microsoft’s scrapping of support for older IE versions.
