Windows 8 gets KB4103725 as new Cumulative update. Download link

Microsoft has now pushed new cumulative update KB4103725 to Windows 8. Windows Server 2012 R2 is also receiving the same updates.

The updates only bring fixes and improvements for PCs and there are no new features and changes.

Improvements and fixes


This security update includes improvements and fixes that were part of update KB4093121 (released April 17, 2018) and addresses the following issues:

  • Addresses an issue that prevents customers from typing Hangul correctly with Microsoft’s Korean IME in Microsoft Word Online.
  • Addresses an issue that may cause an error when connecting to a Remote Desktop server. For more information, see CredSSP updates for CVE-2018-0886.
  • Security updates to Internet Explorer, Windows apps, Windows kernel, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows storage and filesystems, HTML help, and Windows Hyper-V.
