After sending press invites for the 2019 Surface event that revealed venue and launch date for the event, Microsoft has now announced timing for the event. As per a teaser posted by the official Microsoft Surface account on Twitter, the event will be held at 10 am ET on October 2.

The teaser also revealed that the event will be live-streamed on Twitter.

What to expect:

While there has been a surprising lack of leaks, we expect Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 to be the most probable launch candidates. You can read our coverage of Surface Pro 7 leaks and rumors by clicking here and our roundup of Surface Laptop 3 by clicking here.

A Surface Go 2019 successor may also be launched. The foldable Surface Centaurus most likely will give the event a miss as all the leaks and rumors have pointed at a Q1 or H1 2020 debut for it.
