Surface Phone variants with Snapdragon 850 & 1000 in works, reveals new leak

We last reported exclusively that Surface Phone launch would be aligned with Redstone 5 and that it will be powered by Snapdragon 850. Now, a leak confirms Snapdragon 845 (850 for Windows) as one of the processors to power Surface Phone. The leaks also hints at rumored Snapdragon 1000 processor powering one of its possible variants.

The leak comes from job description of a Qualcomm employee on LinkedIn.

As you will notice Snapdragon 845 (850 for Windows) and Snapdragon 1000 are mentioned as processors meant for not only Desktops but also Andromeda and Hololens. We had exclusively reported about Surface Phone coming in more than one variants but our sources tell us that first Surface Phone that is supposed to come in 2018 will be mostly powered by Snapdragon 850.

There are chances that Snapdragon 1000 processor may not be ready by the time Microsoft will launch Surface Phone/Andromeda device. Microsoft will align Andromeda and Surface Phone launch with Windows 10 Redstone 5.
