Definitive Edition

At Gamescom 2017, Microsoft celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Age of Empires franchise. The company also shared some exciting news on Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and gave a sneak peek of the brand-new title – Age of Empires IV.

Launching later this year on October 19, 2017, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition will show the classic at its best when it goes exclusively for Windows 10 PC via the Windows Store.

Microsoft is also launching Definitive Editions for Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III in the future.

AoE: DE is set to launch with a ton of awesome new features, some of them include:

– Attack Move
– 250-300 population cap​
– Rally Points Basic
– Rally Points Contextual (Intelligent Villagers)
– Grid default key layout ​
– Select Idle Military
– Select Idle Villagers
– Unit queueing
– Right-click mouse scroll
– And MORE!
