On stage at Gamescom 2017, Microsoft announced Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare DLC is launching on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC coming September 26.
Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare is a completely new expansion for Halo Wars 2, bringing a new Banished campaign, crisp Blur cinematics, new maps, new leaders and a new game mode called Terminus Firefight together in one exciting package.

At the release of Xbox One X on Nov. 7, both Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Wars 2 will feature 4K support. Halo Wars 2 and Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare will also support HDR.
