Microsoft, at Build 2017 developer conference, announced that Windows Mixed Reality dev kits from Acer and HP are now available for pre-order.
Developers, in US and Canada, can pre-order these dev kits from the Microsoft Store right now. Acer and HP are the first Mixed reality partners offering the VR/MR headset devices and will be shipping to customers by Summer, this year.

The Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset Developer Edition is priced at $299 USD.

HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset Developer Edition is priced at $329 USD.
Both the headsets don’t need any external camera or IR for set up as they come equipped with state-of-the-art, inside-out tracking for a truly immersive experience as you move with six degrees of freedom (6DoF) in mixed reality.
Please note, you will require a PC with Windows 10 Creators Update installed and developer mode activated, too. Also, do check whether your workstation meets the recommended hardware specifications to develop experiences for Windows Mixed Reality.
